Mapping to mitigate environmental impacts

Foncière des Régions, together with CSTB and Ernst & Young, have mapped the energy and environmental performance of its assets. This study incorporates a range of criteria:

• Building energy and water consumption
• CO2 emissions
• Environmental risks – regulatory safety
• Access for people with reduced mobility, public transport access and service.
  

Mapping on an unprecedented scale

This mapping covers the Office, Service sector, Logistics and Housing (France and Germany) portfolios, and has characterised 85% of the surface area of the properties and 86% of its value. In terms of the diversity of the topics addressed, this asset audit is one of the most extensive ever undertaken by a property company.

An efficient and open-ended tool

Performed in 2009 using 2006, 2007 and 2008 data, this audit enabled us to identify the best levers for

improving the performance of our property. This mapping is used both as a basis for decisions and for steering the works policy implemented by Foncière des Régions.
The mapping data is updated to take into account the changes to the properties and in order to establish increasingly efficient action plans.
