Cité de l’architecture - Défis de ville
A showcase for tomorrow's urban projects
In November 2010, Foncière des Régions decided to support the “Défis de ville” 2011 discussion series as part of its ongoing contribution to the promotion of contemporary architecture. These discussions, which focus on urban projects, are venues for dialogue and the exchange of views between the different key players of a city project.
An open-minded approach
The “Défis de ville” meetings take place every two months with an audience comprising town-planning and real-estate professionals and students. Eight meetings take place per year to examine the planning stages of a selection of projects chosen for their architectural and town-planning relevance.
A new partnership with the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine
These discussions are particularly beneficial in that they enable the various players involved in the same development to cross-check ideas and points of view, resulting in a multidisciplinary vision of real-estate projects. This new partnership will allow Foncière des Régions to build on its relationship with and commitment to the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine while increasing exposure for large-scale real-estate and urban programmes.
