Passerelle

An approach based on skills sponsorship

Since autumn 2008, Foncière des Régions has been supporting the “Lycée experimental” (experimental high school) project developed by Sciences Po. The aim of this undertaking is to strengthen through close customized partnerships the interaction between a company and its environment, notably the teaching community.

Foncière des Régions’ commitment through Passerelle

The “Lycée experimental” project initiated by Sciences Po in 2005, aims to bring the corporate world and high schools together, especially classes in less privileged areas, in a spirit of openness.
As part of this initiative, which is called Passerelle (Footbridge), Foncière des Régions is working with two high schools: Louise Michel in Bobigny (Paris region) and Blaise Pascal in Forbach (eastern France).

This involvement takes the form of presentations, buildings visits and practical workshops, as well as a system of personalized tutoring. Each year, several hundred secondary school students benefit from the project.

Openness, dialogue and mutual enrichment

Around fifty employees are actively involved in the initiative. At the same time, Foncière des Régions has offered several of these high school students internships or summer jobs.

Given the project success and the very positive feedback from the students and the massive employee involvement, Foncière des Régions is committed to continuing and even expanding this partnership.
